I was involved in Bitcoin back when it sold for about $2. I purchased a few graphics cards and had them mining for me.
I would sell all the BTC I would make, but I had reserved 50 BTC in a paper wallet. I told myself I would not sell these until BTC hit $100,000 CAD.
In late 2013 I put a preorder for the KNC bitcoin miner. Cost me aboiut $40,000 CAD total and I was averaging about 1 BTC a day.
In 2015 I finally received my miners, and 1 month in it resulted in a house fire. It ends up KNC was pumping too much power through the cable, and the current was too high. They sent all owners a y cable splitter but by then it was too late. My house was burned to ashes, my miners were gone, and I was in a state of depression. Pictures attached below.

I finally quit and have been clean now for almost a year. However the BTC price has now come back to haunt me. If you are a Canadian on Local Bitcoins you may have heard of me, jamal01, probably the only seller around from my day as the rest are all rich.
I'm obviously not going to turn to ketamine again, but I wanted to share my sad story with the world. I need a crash so I can buyback in and feel better about life...
